Studies in Chinese Linguistics (Volume 33 Number 3) was released in December 2012 and comprises three articles. The paper by Aldridge studies word order in Late Archaic Chinese while the two papers by Lin and Paul discuss semantic issues in Taiwan Southern Min and Chinese, respectively. The latest issue of the Newsletter of Chinese Language (Volume 92, Number 1) was released in January 2013. The special topic of this issue is "Corpora" and two articles were solicited to introduce two different Cantonese corpora. This issue also includes an article on Chinese language studies, two papers on Chinese language learning and teaching, and one conference report.
