Since its establishment in 1949, New Asia College has been producing leaders for over 60 years. In order to present the vision and scholarship of our founders and teachers, and decades of devotion to promoting Chinese Culture and nurturing generations of talents, the College has been working on a series of projects on College History for students, staff, alumni and the general public to learn more about the history of New Asia and the philosophies and educational aspirations of our founders.

These projects include:

· The New Asia History Gallery

· An online historical archive

· The published letters of Ch'ien Mu, Tang Junyia and Tchang Pikai

· Early scholars' letters, works and associated artifacts

· New Asia publications in digital form

The New Asia College History Gallery is located on the ground floor of Cheng Ming Building, New Asia College. The Gallery will showcase the development of New Asia by displaying descriptive panels, pictures and exhibits.

The opening ceremony will be held on 14 December, 2013 (Sat) at 3pm and staff, students and alumni of New Asia are welcome. If you are interested in attending the ceremony, please contact Ms. Carmen Lam (Tel: 3943-8615; Email: carmenlam@cuhk.edu.hk).

The Gallery will be open to the public from 16 December 2013 (Monday). Opening hours of the Gallery are as follows:

Mondays to Fridays: 9:30am – 4:30pm

Saturdays: 9:30am – 12pm

Sundays and Public Holidays: Closed
