| OUTREACH ENDEAVOURS Visit of the Independent Schools Foundation (ISF) Academy |

Following the previous visits on 11 Dec 2012 and 5 Sep 2014, a group of 40 secondary students from the Independent Schools Foundation (ISF) Academy visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) again on 4 September 2015. The visitors were warmly welcomed and received by Prof. Kenneth K.H. Lee, Managing Director of Core Laboratories and Chief of the Stem Cell and Regeneration Thematic Research Programme. Apart from receiving a short introduction of our recent research works on stem cell by Prof. Lee, they were arranged with a guided tour of the Core Laboratories at the Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building. We hope that students from local secondary schools could learn more about biomedical sciences, and their interest in science and research could be stimulated and nurtured through the visit.
