"Music Dreams Come True" University Mentorship Programme

"Music Dreams Come True" University Mentorship Programme is presented by Hong Kong String Orchestra (HKSO) and co-organized by I.CARE Programme. We are recruiting 25 CUHK students to the programme.

After a series of string trainings instructed by HKSO mentors, students will perform with HKSO musicians in a campus concert held on 10 November 2016 (Thursday). Outstanding students will be selected to form a "21st Century Joint University Orchestra". They will learn face-to-face from Tan Dun, the HKSO Laureate Conductor in Residence, and to perform with the master.

I.CARE is inviting students from ALL DISCIPLINES to the mentorship programme. If you got Grade 5 or above in violin/viola/cello/double bass, you are welcome to register for the audition on 26 and 27 September 2016 (Monday and Tuesday).

Training Schedule: 7:00 - 10:00 pm, Every Thursday, 6 October – 3 November 2016
