Election of the Seventh Representative Council, Student Union of CW Chu College

Within the nomination period for the election of the Seventh Representative Council of the Student Union of CW Chu College, the Election Committee had not received any application from basic members. Therefore, there was no formal candidate for the election.

In accordance with Acticle 52 of The Constitution of the Student Union of CW Chu College, the Election Committee announced the extension of the nomination period to 5 May 2020, and the extension of the term of the Sixth Representative Council, starting from 28 April 2020 until the Seventh Representative Council Officers are elected in the by-election.

In late May 2020, the Sixth Representative Council confirmed that its term of office would be extended to 31 January 2021. It would appoint a new Election Committee to handle matters related to the by-election of the Seventh Representative Council near the end of Term 1, 2020–21.
