Time

Deciphering the code – yes you can do it

Date

19 October 2017 (Thursday)

Time

7:00 - 8:30 pm

Content

For some of us, Cyrillic alphabet may look like mirrored Latin letters. Or it may resemble codes to be cracked. In this workshop, we will learn to read and write and even speak some basic Russian. You will definitely develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of this charismatic language system.

Human Trafficking and Modern-day Slavery

Globalisation… of the dark side

Date

Time

6:30 - 8:00 pm

Slavery was more common in human history than we tend to admit, but that was all in the past… not? I bet you'll be surprised that there are more slaves than ever before – though less visible.
