During his 27-years in imprisonment, Nelson Mandela's reputation grew steadily and he became a potent symbol of resistance as the anti-apartheid movement gathered strength. After his release, he plunged himself wholeheartedly into his life's work, striving to attain the goals of free, non-racial, non sexists democratic South Africa.
In collaboration with the South African Consulate-General, HKSAR/MSAR, The Chinese University of Hong Kong is launching a Mandela Exhibition. As a part of the International Festival 2017, the events will show you the lifetime of struggle of Nelson Mandela.
