2016 Asia Conference at CUHK (19-23 Aug 2016) – Financial Support

CUHK will provide financial support to 20 CUHK full-time local students to participate in the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) 2016 Asia Conference which will take place during 19 to 23 August 2016 at CUHK.

About HPAIR 2016

As Harvard University's largest annual student-led conference in the Asia-Pacific region, HPAIR 2016 Asia Conference provides valuable opportunities for the exchange of ideas on challenges and trends across the Asian-international landscape. More than 500 university students and 50 notable speakers including academics, business leaders, and policy makers from around the world will convene on the CUHK campus for the 5-day conference. Pressing global issues along five tracks, including Environment and Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Technology, Humanitarian Affairs, Business and the World Economy, and Governance and Diplomacy will be discussed through a series of plenary sessions, panels, keynotes, workshops, and case studies.  For more details about the Conference, please visit www.hpair.org/aconf-2016.

 

Financial Support from CUHK

The conference registration fees are US$375 (Regular Registration) and US$395 (Final Registration). A subsidy will be awarded to 20 CUHK full-time local students to cover approximately 80% of the registration fee. The CUHK students will only need to pay HK$500 to participate in the Conference.

 

Application Procedures
CUHK full-time local students are welcome to apply. Applicants must be registered full-time local students at CUHK at the time of attending the Conference.
