Student Reflections on Orientation Camp

"… Stepped out of my comfort zone ... makes me more conscious about my own limitations, and fosters my development..."

"CWC O'Camp is somewhat different; since it is not optional but almost compulsory, there should be more consideration of those who are less outgoing, who need more time to warm up, and we should not plan the programme simply because it is fun... Hopefully in the future the new students themselves would take more initiative in innovations."

Some Examples of Student Responses in the Post-O'Camp Survey (anonymous):

Which O'Camp activities left the deepest impressions? Why?

High Table Dinner: talked with the professors, understood their views.

Community Outreach Excursion: I got to learn something new; very meaningful.

Campfire: the most relaxing and fun.

BBQ Party: brought the group members closer together; enjoyed ourselves and the food was perfect.
