Miss. Li Qian, Year 4 Ph.D. student in the "Neuro-degeneration, -development and Repair" (NDDR) theme of SBS, was awarded the Hong Kong Association of University Women Postgraduate Scholarships 2011-2012 for her outstanding achievements in research. The Postgraduate Scholarship aims at recognizing and encouraging female postgraduates who conduct high quality researches. The Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held on 15 December 2012 and Miss. Li was the only postgraduate student studying in CUHK who received the Scholarship this year. In addition, her research result was published in the journal "Neuron" (Volume 76, Issue 5) in December 2012. The work is also highlighted in "Nature China" (Jan 2013) and "Nature Reviews Neuroscience" (Feb 2013). We sincerely wish Miss. Li continued success in her research endeavors. |
