| Meeting with the Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office | |

Coordinated by the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a six-member delegation led by Mr. Shen Chang-yu, Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), visited CUHK on 4 December 2015. Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) and Prof. Christopher H.K. Cheng, Associate Director (Undergraduate Education) of SBS and Director of Shenzhen Research Institute were invited to join the meeting with SIPO delegates, together with other CUHK representatives including Prof. Benjamin W. Wah, Provost/Vice-President; Prof. Dennis Y.M. Lo, Associate Dean (Research) of Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Walter K.K. Ho, Director of ORKTS and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Office of Academic Links (China). During the meeting, the participants discussed matters relating to and exchanged experience in knowledge transfer and commercialization of medical research. |
