With the dedication to promote applied mathematics development, Professor Zou has 145 research publications in Science Citation Index (SCI) ranked mathematical journals and has been listed in the Highly Cited Mathematicians (Web of Science) continuously in the last 15 years. He currently serves as the associate editor of 12 SCI ranked international mathematics journals, including three most influential computational mathematics journals, namely SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, and ESAIM: Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis. 

SIAM is an award established to recognise the efforts devoted by members towards conducting exemplary research and providing outstanding service; its Fellows will help advance the fields of applied mathematics and computational science. Professor Zou is one of two newly elected SIAM Fellows in 2019 from non-US and non-European countries. Congratulations to Professor Zou!
