The College would like to thank all sports teams for their time and effort, and for putting in their best in the competitions.
Fridays with Yoga
Yoga originated from India thousands of years ago and it aims at integrating every aspect of our body, mind and spirit.
In collaboration with Morningside College, CW Chu College launched an 8-session regular yoga class from February to April 2018 as a Friday-night workout for students to refresh their minds from work and study.
Ten students from CW Chu College joined the Yoga class. Through practising yoga, they learnt the technique of stretching and breathing. They also learnt the skill to purify their bodies, to strengthen their minds and to channel their emotions in positive ways.
Archery Fun Day
Archery was used for hunting and combat in the past. It has now developed into a competitive sport and recreational activity. The College Archery Fun Day in Term 2 was held on 7 March 2018 right after the communal dinner, to offer fun and challenging workout to participants. Nineteen students joined the activity, in which they learnt basic archery skills.
Sport Climbing Fun Day
Eighteen students joined the Sport Climbing Fun Day at Sir Philip Haddon-Cave Sports Field organised by the College on 9 March 2018. A coach from Wizdom Learning Centre Limited taught students basic sport climbing skills and safety measures to observe through the one-day training. Participants had a better understanding of sport climbing; built self-confidence and enhanced their body coordination and perseverance.
