What Do You Do at the Library?

I joined the CUHK Library in August 2022 as the Law Librarian and Faculty Liaison Librarian (Business Administration & Law). I work closely with faculty members from the Faculty of Law and the Business School, developing library collections, as well as providing library support services to facilities teaching, learning and research.

As the Law Librarian, I lead a team of library staff to maintain the daily operation of the Lee Quo Wei Law Library (Law Library). You can easily reach out to me at the Law Library, sometimes at the Legal Resources Centre in Admiralty. In terms of user education, I also liaise with faculty members and provide information literacy sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students to find legal materials. I also provide research consultations to users for their research needs. I enjoy very much my work at CUHK and you are most welcome to contact me if you need any assistance.

What Is Your Educational Background and Work Experience?

I studied Philosophy for my undergraduate degree at Lingnan University and pursued Comparative and Public History for my postgraduate degree in CUHK. I have developed my interest in librarianship when I was a Library Assistant in CUHK which led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Library and Information Management at The University of Hong Kong. I love to learn new things, and I am studying Buddhist Studies in CUHK now. Before re-joining CUHK Library, I have been working as Faculty Liaison Librarian and Learning Support Librarian across academic libraries in Hong Kong.
