*Speaker's Biography:
Dr. Baldwin Wong
Dr. Wong is a Lecturer of the General Education Foundation Programme and Department of Government and Public Administration at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He obtained a Master of Arts in Political Theory at The University of York and a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science. He was a Junior Researcher at University of Essex and an Honorary Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include among others contemporary social contract theories, political liberalism, public reason, and comparative political philosophy. He has published academic articles in Res Publica, Public Reason, Societas: A Journal for Philosophical Study of Public Affairs. He also served as commentator in various media including Ming Pao and Initium Media.
