GHMUA Student Interflow Scheme Supports Exchange in the GBA
With the support from the University Grants Committee (UGC), a three-year Student Interflow Scheme was launched by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance (GHMUA) to subsidize university students in Hong Kong participating in short-term internship or learning programmes in the Greater Bay Area. CUHK has provided transportation subsidy to students in the academic year 2019-20 for their participation in the internship programmes held in Shenzhen and Zhuhai respectively. Application for the funding scheme for the 2020-21 academic year is about to begin. OALC will announce the scheme details to departments and units with eligible activities shortly.
Founded in November 2016, the GHUMUA aspires to gather elite universities in the region, to facilitate the nurture of leaders and to foster regional collaboration. Member institutions include 9 universities from Hong Kong, 21 universities from Guangdong Province and 7 universities from Macao. CUHK is one of the initiating institutions, together with Sun Yat-sen University and University of Macau. Please click here for more details about the Alliance. |
