The delegation met with Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Xu Yangsheng, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Yeung Yam, Chairman of Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department, Prof. Li Shiqiao of Architecture Department. CUHK representatives introduced the delegates to the latest research development of the University, the Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department, Department of Architecture, and its collaboration projects with Shenzhen government. The delegation was then divided into groups and met with Prof. Wong Wing-shing, Dean of Graduate School, representatives of Registry and Alumni Affairs Office. The delegation also visited the Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department and the Department of Architecture.

The two universities agreed to build a closer collaborative linkage and signed an "Agreement on Joint Center for Automation Science and Engineering".

The visit had strengthened academic and cooperative communications of both sides, and the signing of the agreement signified a new era of collaboration between the two universities.
