I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project: Nearing an End

The I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project of this academic year is almost over.  36 CUHK students had undergone a series of professional training before acting as docents between March and May 2019.  Over 400 students of 10 secondary schools joined the guided tours to explore Hong Kong.  In addition, three tours with different themes were offered to CUHK students and staff exclusively, and they attracted altogether 55 attendees.

To preserve and promote the unique culture, history and attractions of Hong Kong, this project will publish maps to feature the six tour themes of 2018-19.  The schedule of release and distribution points of the maps will be announced in due course.

While the CUHK students of this project are working intensively on the production of the aforementioned maps, they attended the "Appreciation cum Sharing Session" organised by this Centre on the 16th of this month.  During the gathering, they did not only receive the certificates of completion, but also earned a chance to exchange their tour guiding experience and gains with the fellow participants.
