CUHK Students Win Winner's Cup in National Entrepreneurship Competition
Students of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) swept prizes in the biennial "Chuang Qingchun" National Entrepreneurship Competition for University Students 2016, which was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on 15 – 20 November. A total of 24 teams from 11 local tertiary institutions participated in the competition, , among which six teams with a total of 12 students are from CUHK. All the six CUHK teams won silver awards and their outstanding performance also enabled the University to win the Winner's Cup, which was awarded to the top 20 institutions with the highest scores. The Competition is a biennial event in promoting innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship for university students in China. This year, it attracted a total of 110,000 projects from more than 2,200 universities from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Invitation to CUHK Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland and Taiwan Students 2017
CUHK Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland and Taiwan Students 2017 is scheduled to be held from 3 July to 20 August 2017 (a total of 7 weeks). All academic and research units of CUHK are cordially invited to join the programme, providing opportunities to students from mainland China and Taiwan to receive research training as visiting students or honorary research assistants at CUHK.
To forge and strengthen research collaboration with our partner institutions in mainland China and Taiwan, promoting interaction among students of the cross-strait region and helping recruit potential research students, OALC has been organizing the programme every year since 2008. Highlights of New Winter Interflow Activities under CU in Mainland & Taiwan
OALC is sending around 300 CUHK students to mainland China to participate in 17 student interflow programmes during the winter break, in collaboration with various partner institutions. A list of new activities is provided below:
