| The collaboration between CUHK and institutions in China is on the increase. The Office of Academic Link (China) organizes China Links Seminar regularly to update CUHK colleagues with the latest development in the mainland. The first seminar of the year, Setting Up Joint Research Units—Experience of Collaboration with Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held on 30 January. The seminar aimed at introducing the successful experience of setting up joint research units with the institutions in China.
The speakers included Mr. ZHANG Xing-Gen, Director, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Henry NC Wong, Chairman of Research Committee, CUHK and Prof. LIN Hui, Director, Institute of Space and Earth Information Science, CUHK. They shared their valuable experience on how to set up joint research units with the mainland partners. |
