Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gordon Cheung Visits Renmin University of China
Prof. Gordon Cheung, Associate-Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) visited Renmin University of China (RUC) on 19 October 2012. Meeting was held during the visit with Prof. Chen Yulu, President of RUC to exchange ideas on possible collaborations opportunities between the two universities.
CUHK has established partnership with RUC since 1994. The visit further strengthened the linkage between the two universities, expanding to new level of collaboration.

2012 Cross-Strait Forum for Academic Exchange Heads
2012 Cross-Straits Forum for Academic Exchange Heads was held in Zhejiang University on 10 October 2012. Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China) of CUHK attended the Forum on behalf of the University.
About 40 representatives of universities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan joined the event. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for members in academic exchange units from the four regions to share their experience in higher education sector. Under a friendly atmosphere, participants not only obtained valuable knowledge, but also enhanced mutual understanding, paving the way for future cooperation.
