Invitation to the 15th Training Course on Management of Mainland Higher Education

The Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Ministry of Education (MOE), and Education, Science and Technology Department, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, will organize the 15^th Mainland Higher Education Management Training Course in Tsinghua University from 9 to 16 October, 2014.  The course is now inviting participants from Hong Kong tertiary institutions to join. Details are set out below.

Course Information

1. Lectures on higher education, political, social and economic development in Mainland China;
2. Meetings with MOE officials and representatives from Tsinghua University and other tertiary institutions in Beijing; and
3. Cultural tour.

Fees
The MOE will support the local transportation, lecture and teaching materials for the participants. Air tickets, meals and accommodation will be borne by the home departments/units.

The 2^nd Summer Institute for Mainland Higher Education Executives

The 2nd Summer Institute for Mainland Higher Education Executives was held on 21-27 July 2014. One of the participants Mr. Liu Kun of Tsinghua University sums up his feelings in a Chinese poem:

鳳召南土引吭鳴，宇內祥雲現九形。

吐露港前藏浩渺，馬鞍山下毓鍾靈。

九賢高校集香港，香港中文聚紫庭。
