The delegation met with Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Xu Yangsheng, Associate-Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Liu Yunhui of Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department, Prof. Michael R. Lyu and Prof. Heng Pheng Ann of Computer Science and Engineering Department, and Prof. Huang Bo of Geography and Resource Management Department. The delegates visited Institute of Space and Earth Information Science, and the research facilities and laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering, including Advanced Robotics Laboratory, Virtual Reality, Visualization and Imaging Research Centre, and Networked Sensors and Robotics Laboratory. The visit bolstered mutual understanding and further developed the relationship between the two universities. During the visit, CUHK renewed the Agreement for Academic Collaboration with NUDT.
