Programmes under CU in Mainland & Taiwan 2018 Now Open for Application!
Office of Academic Links (China) (OALC) organized an Information Session on 11 January to introduce to CUHK students over 70 interflow programmes to mainland China and Taiwan in 2019. Around 120 students attended the session to learn from the student sharing, while knowing more details of various programmes from OALC staff members.
OALC aspires to create meaningful opportunities of outbound interflow for CUHK students, with aims of enriching students' learning experience and promoting whole-person development. Such activities include credit-bearing courses, cultural exploration tours, academic competitions, service-learning trips and career development programmes (including internships), which are being open for application. Students are encouraged to plan ahead and look for activity details here on our webpage.

Reminder: Internal Nomination Period for CUHK Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland and Taiwan Students to End on 8 Feb
The CUHK Summer Research Placement Programme for Mainland and Taiwan Students will be held from 1 July to 17 August 2019. We would like to invite faculty members of the University to support the programme by being one of the hosts and providing research placement opportunities to students from mainland China and Taiwan. The deadline for internal nominations is 8 February (Friday).

Invitation to The 5th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
"The 5th Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" organized by the Hong Kong New General Cultural Association is now open for application. Winning teams will represent the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest (Challenge Cup) and the China College Students' "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Internet Plus).
As a bi-annual national competition, the Challenge Cup is known as the "Olympics" in promoting innovation in social science, science and technology for university students in China; The China College Students' "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is also well known as the best and biggest roadshow platform worldwide, which has been successfully held for three consecutive years since 2015.
