Third Director's Cup - SBS Badminton Tournament

As an annual sports event of the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS), the third Director's Cup - Badminton Tournament was organized by the SBS Postgraduate Student Association (PSA) on 17 October 2015, which was full of excitement and laughter.

Six teams formed by over 50 SBS students and staff members competed for the "Director's Cup".  The champion trophy was once again generously sponsored by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, the School Director.  After rounds of intense competition, the following teams won the various awards of the Tournament:

"RDE-STAFF" Team comprising Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Ms. Nicole S.C. Ng, Mr. Jason J.Y. Liao, Mr. Alfred C.S. Luk, Mr. Y.Z. Niu, Ms. L. Li, Ms. T. Xie and Ms. D.D. Cao

First runner-up
"ECBRC" Team comprising Mr. Jonathan Z.H. Weng, Mr. John J.J. Chen, Mr. Alex X.H. Zhang, Mr. B. Huang, Ms. Tina J.T. Zhang, Ms. Crystal Z.Q. Liu, Ms. Phyllis Chen and Ms. W.Y. Lin 

Second runner-up
"DongWuZhouYu" Team comprising Mr. Tommy Lo, Mr. Walter Yeung, Mr. Gerald T.Y. Wong, Ms. X.Y Zhang, Ms. Y.L. Zeng and Ms. Z.Y. Zheng


All participants enjoyed so much in this fun-filled event, which allowed SBS staff members and the postgraduate students to establish closer bondage.  The SBS PSA would like to express their deepest gratitude to all participants, judges and helpers for their participation and help, as well as to School members for their unfailing support in this event.  Without their contributions and support, the event would not have been as enjoyable and successful.
