| Visit from Japanese International School (JIS) | |

A group of P5 students and their teachers from Japanese International School, amounted to 25 persons, visited the School of Biomedical Sciences on 29 November 2012. The visit with a central theme "Cell" was coordinated by Prof. Lee Tin Lap, which aimed at giving the students a better understanding on the work that scientists generally do and the overall environment of a scientific lab. A tour to the labs, demonstrations on using research equipment as well as simple experiments were conducted. The visit lasted for about an hour and all the students left with smiling faces.
