Prof. Michael Hui, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) led a 12-member delegation to visit Nanjing University from 11 to 13 November. The delegation composed of senior executives from various units of CUHK including Bursary, United College, Campus Development Office, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Institutional Advancement, Information Services Office, Office of Registry Services, Personnel Office, Alumni Affairs Office, Communications and Public Relations Office, and Office of Academic Links (China).
Introducing their respective areas of work, CUHK delegates exchanged views and experiences with their counterparts in Nanjing University. They visited the campus of the Nanjing University and had the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Southeast University. The delegation trip helped build up strong links between the executives of the two universities and the delegates obtained valuable knowledge on the development of Nanjing University and also the higher education institutions in the mainland. CUHK has been arranging delegations to visit their key partner universities in the mainland since 2007. The first visit was to Fudan University and a delegation went to Zhejiang University last year. |
