Dr. HU Fan obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Fung Kwok-pui. After graduation, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Biotechnology and Food Engineering, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui Province, China.
Dr. Hu focuses on the research of the environmental estrogen effect on nervous system and exploring the underlying mechanisms. Her research interest also includes exploring new drugs and functional foods that could exert protective function on the damaged nervous system.
