CUHK Holds Collaboration Meeting With Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre

Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), met with Mr. Hsu Hoi-shan, Director and President of Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre (BHKAEC), on 5 November 2020 to share recent developments and discuss multilateral cooperation opportunities.
 
At the meeting, Prof. Tuan expressed that CUHK and BHKAEC has been in close collaboration for many years with focus on construction of academic platforms. Main initiatives include the joint academic symposiums organized with the National Natural Science Foundation of China,The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Scholars Visit Programme, Hong Kong Scholars Programme and joint seminars co-organized by CUHK and CASS every year. The University hoped that through the solid foundation with BHKAEC, more innovative and impactful projects will be further developed to enhance linkage.
 
Suggested by Prof. YANG Chen Ning, BHKAEC was established in 1985 to promote development of activities involving academic, science and technology interflow, as well as cooperation between Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas insitutes. Please visit BHKAEC website for more information.
