Professor Leo Ou-fan Lee, Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture, was honoured "Author of the Year" in the 26th Hong Kong Book Fair organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in recognition of his notable contributions in the literary world spanning half a century.
The Art Gallery's special exhibition for "Author of the Year" featured Professor Lee's contributions in his three roles: Man of Letters; Scholar; and Amateur. The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors. The three seminars jointly hosted by Professor Lee also drew large audiences as well.
