The one-week programme consisted of a series of lectures and visits, through which the participants had the opportunity to understand more about university life and social environment in Hong Kong, and to interact with CUHK students. Apart from campus visits, there were visits to some public organizations, such as Hong Kong Equal Opportunities Commission, Hong Kong Monetary Authority and ICAC to acquire a broad picture of Hong Kong.
In attending the closing ceremony held on July 23, Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, said that the Summer Cultural Interflow Programme provided a great opportunity for mainland students and CUHK students to have interaction with each other and further strengthened partnership with the universities on the mainland.
