CU in Mainland & Taiwan Programmes First Reach Czech Republic!
Office of Academic Links (China) is organizing over 50 activities this summer in collaboration with various mainland and Taiwan partner institutions with programme natures including cultural experience, academic competitions and thematic studies. Among these activities, a two-week Summer School of Central Europe and European Integration hosted by Palacký University of the Czech Republic was launched this year, which is the first programme ever of OALC to Central Europe as an extension of the original Summer Cultural Camp on "New Chongqing" with Southwest University. Apart from Chongqing, Olomouc and Prague, participating students of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) had the opportunities to visit such European countries as Autria, Slovakia and Poland to understand the highly interactive relationship between Hong Kong, mainland China and other countries.
A total of 165 CUHK students went to mainland China for the following 15 activities in June:

CUHK Students Sweep Awards in Hong Kong Challenge Cup Competition
Students of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) actively participated in the "Challenge Cup" National Competition Hong Kong Regional Final – Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2018. A total of 16 teams of CUHK won awards in the competition. The final judging and public exhibition and the award presentation ceremony were held at Hong Kong Science Park on 25 and 26 May.
Over 200 students from 13 local tertiary institutions submitted more than 100 projects for the two categories of the competition, namely "Innovation" and "Entrepreneurship". In the Innovation category, CUHK students won two first-class awards, three second-class awards, one third-class award, two special awards and four merit awards. In the Entrepreneurship category, CUHK students received one first-class award, two second-class awards and one third-class award.
The competition was organized by the Hong Kong New General Cultural Association. Winning teams in entrepreneurship will represent Hong Kong at the biennial "Chuang Qing Chun" National Entrepreneurship Competition 2018. The following is the list of CUHK awarded projects:
