The SBS Christmas Party 2016 (the Party) was successfully held on 12 December 2016 at C.W. Chu College. About 300 teaching and non-teaching staff members, students and invited guests participated in the Party. This year, we were most delighted to have Prof. Francis K.L. Chan, Dean of Faculty of Medicine; Mr. Eric S.P. Ng, Registrar and Secretary; Prof. Wong Suk-ying, Associate Vice-President of the University; Prof. Wing Yun-kwok, Associate Dean (Student Affairs) and Prof. Vivian W.Y. Lee, Assistant Dean (Student Development) of Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Jack Cheng, Chair of Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology; Prof. Zuo Zhong, Director of School of Pharmacy; Ms. Corinna Lee, Director of Personnel; Ms. Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China); Prof. Walter K.K. Ho, Director and Dr. Lee Chi-ming, Director, Knowledge Transfer, Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services; Mr. Daniel K.M. Cheng, Director of Alumni Affairs Office; Dr. Dewi Rowlands, Director, Laboratory Animal Services Centre; Mr. Fung Siu-man, Director of Campus Development; Mr. Scotty W.C. Luk, Director of University Health Service; Mr. Lam Shi-kai, Director of University Safety, University Safety Office/University Laboratory Safety Office; as well as many other guests from different units of the University and the industry joined our party and shared the happy moments with our School members. Apart from the delicious food, our guests, the School Director and Associate Directors were invited to draw dozens of lucky draw winners to receive many prizes during the "Lucky Draw" session. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to our teaching staff members for their generous donations as well as the colleagues and students who have contributed significantly for making this event a successful one. Last but not least, we would also like to thank Ms. Sophie K.Y. Wong (Year 1 Ph.D. student) and Mr. Pang Tak-keung Bruce (Year 1 Ph.D. student) for serving as the Masters of Ceremony of the Party.
