On 12 September, Prof. Wang Xiao-min, Vice-President of the Capital Medical University (CMU) visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and signed an academic cooperation agreement between the two Universities.
A meeting was held in the Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences of Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH). Representatives of CUHK included Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Dean of Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Chairman of the Department of Biochemistry; Prof. Lawrence Wong, Head, Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics; Prof. Tang Jinling of the School of Public Health, and Prof. Zhu Xianlun, Clinical Associate Professor (honorary). In the meeting, Prof. Fok introduced Prof. Wang to the latest development of the Faculty, while Prof. Wang provided CUHK representatives with a general overview of CMU. The meeting was followed by an agreement signing ceremony. After the ceremony, Prof. Wang visited the Lee Hysan Clinical Research Laboratories, the Kai Chong Tong Clinical Skills Learning Centre in PWH, and the Virtual Reality, Visualization & Imaging Research Centre in the campus. |
