The 87th Congregation for the Conferment of Degrees was held at the University Mall on 7 November, 2019. Around 560 students were conferred the degrees of Bachelor of Science by Faculty of Science this year. |

On 8 November, 2019, Professor Poon Wai Yin, Pro-Vice-Chancellor officiated the Master’s Degree Graduation Ceremony and more than 330 students were conferred the degrees of Master of Philosophy and Master of Science by Faculty of Science. Professor Raymond Chan, the Guest of Honour of the Ceremony and Dean of College of Science, City University of Hong Kong, shared his past time when he was pursuing his undergraduate studies and career in CUHK. He encouraged students to explore their interests and cultivate them by keeping their curiosity alive and never stop questioning. He also brought out the importance of lifelong learning and urged graduates to leave no stone unturned in their search of dream jobs. |
