Linkage Incoming Visits

President of China Association of Chinese Medicine Visits CUHK

Dr. Wang Guoqiang, President of China Association of Chinese Medicine visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on August 6. He was accompanied by three officials from National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and Liaison Office of the Central People's Government (LOCPG) in HKSAR. The delegates met with Professor Chan Wai-yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK; Professor  Leung Ting-hung, Director of School of Chinese Medicine; and Ms Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (China).

 

Professor Chan and CUHK colleagues introduced the University's major research and strategic development to the guests.  Both sides discussed collaboration opportunities in Chinese medicine under the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of the Greater Bay Area.  The visit deepened mutual understanding and paved the way for further exchange and collaboration directions with mainland institutions in Chinese medicine
