Joint Research Seminar in Beihang University

An 11-member delegation from the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) participated in a joint research seminar on 19 April in Beihang University (BUAA). The CUHK delegation comprised members from Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Surgery, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and Department of Imaging and Interventional Radiology. Academic members of CUHK, together with participants from School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering of BUAA, presented their research work and discussed further opportunities in joint projects and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Last year, Prof. Huai Jinpeng, President of BUAA visited CUHK and signed a university-wide MOU with Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK. Both parties have initiated several academic exchange and research collaboration projects. This visit further strengthened the ties and fostered long-term partnership between the two universities in biomedical engineering.
