寓「實習」於「服務體驗」

A Blend of Service-Learning and Internship

參與書院第二屆服務體驗實習計劃的十一位聯合書院學生於6月中前往台灣，在當地的非牟利機構參與為期四十五日的服務學習。他們的第一個任務是學習包製粽子，並送給區內的學童、長輩及獨居老人等品嚐，與他們經歷不一樣的端午節。

Eleven UC students of the College Service-Learning Internship Programme (SLIP) went to Taiwan in mid-June and attached local non-profit organisations to experience a rewarding forty-five-day service-learning trip. Their first task was to learn how to make traditional rice dumplings, which would be given to children and elderly in the local community, so as to share with them the happiness at Dragon Boat Festival!
