A Series of Celebration Activities for the 65th Anniversary of our College
|
A series of activities have been held in the past three months to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of our College. They include the Opening Ceremony, the Banquet for a Thousand People, Respect Our Teachers Activities, New Asia College 65th Anniversary Lecture by Prof. Yu Ying-shih and 65th Anniversary of New Asia College Banquet. All of these were successful, enjoyable events and we would like to thank all of you for your support and participation.
The upcoming celebrations are also very attractive and we hope that all New Asia students, alumni and friends will be able join us. The events are shown below:

CUHK Alumni Homecoming Day---College Activities
|
The 2014 Alumni Homecoming Day organized by the Alumni Affairs Office will be held on Saturday, 29 November 2014. There will be various activities organized by the College, including Homecoming Banquet with the Head of College and Popular Cantonese Ditty Gala Concert. All NA alumni are welcome!

Alumni Reunions
|
Reunion gatherings for class 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005 will be held in 2015. The reunion serves as a valuable opportunity for alumni to recapture happy moments of their university life, share recent experiences with each other, and give valuable advice to facilitate the future development of the College.
All alumni of Class 1975, 1985, 1995 & 2005 and their family members are welcome to join these joyful occasions. For enquiries, please contact the College Advancement Office.

The 65th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony and luncheon
|
The 65th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held at Sir Run Run Hall on 19 September 2014. This year, Mr. LAM Wing-tak Bill, Honorary Fellow of CUHK, Vice-Chairman of Board of Trustees of New Asia College, was our Guest of Honor. With the kind donations from our trustees, alumni and people from all walks of life, a total of 157 scholarships were presented to over 330 students who have demonstrated excellent performance in various ways.

Unveiling Ceremony of the Statue of Professor Pikai Tchang
|
The Unveiling Ceremony of Statue of Professor Pikai Tchang, one of the founders of the College, was held at 2:30pm on 19 September 2014 at the entrance of Yun Chi Hsien, and was well attended by alumni and guests, as well as a number of former students of Prof. Tchang.

Naming Ceremony of Mr. Bill Lam Wing Tak Lounge
|
The Naming Ceremony of Mr. Bill Lam Wing Tak Lounge was held on 19 September at the ground floor lobby of Chih Hsing Hall. In appreciation of Mr. Bill Lam's unfailing support for various College developments, the College has named the lobby "Mr. Bill Lam Wing Tak Lounge'.

New Asia College 65th Anniversary Lecture by Prof. Yu Ying-shih

To celebrate the 65th Anniversary of New Asia College, the New Asia College 65th Anniversary Lecture by Prof. Yu Ying-shih was held in Lecture Theatre 1 of Yasumoto International Academic Park in the Chinese University of Hong Kong on 27th September this year.

Banquet in Celebration of the 65th Anniversary of New Asia College
|
To celebrate the 65th Anniversary of New Asia College, the 65th Anniversary Banquet was held in the Convention Hall of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai on 5th October. About 800 guests, alumni, staff and friends participated in this magnificent banquet, filling sixty-five tables.

New Asia College Cultural Talks 2014/15
|
New Asia College Cultural Talks began in 1950. Speakers were mostly teachers from the College including prestigious scholars from the Mainland like Mr. .Ch'ien Mu, Mr. Tang Chun-I and Mr. Tchang Pi-kai. They aimed to promote Chinese culture, academic and cultural exchanges between East and West, peace and well-being of the human race.

The 10-year (2004) and 20-year (1994) Reunion Activities
|
To celebrate the 10th and 20th graduation anniversaries of 2004 and 1994 graduates, the College held a series of reunions this August, for which the New Asia alumni came back to New Asia College and talked about the old days and recent happenings.
