The 40th Year Reunion Dinner of Class 1977 (Upcoming)
|
The 40th Year Reunion Dinner of Class 1976 will be held on 18 November 2017 (Saturday) at Yun Chi Hsien, New Asia College. The reunion will be an opportunity for alumni to recapture happy moments of their university life, share recent experiences, and provide the College with advice on its future development. All alumni of Class 1977 and their family members are welcome.

CUHK Alumni Homecoming Day – College Activities (Upcoming)
|
The 2017 CUHK Alumni Homecoming Day will be held on 25 November 2017 (Saturday). The day is organised by the Alumni Affairs Office and includes, among various activities, a Homecoming Banquet with the Head of College (registration for the banquet started in late September and is now full). We look forward to spending a pleasant evening with our alumni.

Chinese New Year Party 2018 (Upcoming)
|
Co-organised with the New Asia College Alumni Association, the Chinese New Year Party 2018 will be held in March next year. Details are as follows:

Reunion dinner gatherings/activities for class 1978, 1988, 1998 and 2008 will be held on campus in 2018. These reunions are occasions for alumni to recapture happy moments of their university life, share experiences with each other, and provide the College with advice on its future development.

"Best Friend" New Asia College Summer Basketball Camp
|
Jointly organised by New Asia College and New Asia College Alumni Association, the New Asia College Summer Basketball Camp, themed "Best Friend", was held from 27 to 29 July 2017. Over 100 basketball team players from six excellent local secondary schools, namely CUHKFAA Chan Chun Ha Secondary School, King's College, Sheng Kung Hui Tang Shiu Kin Secondary School, Sing Yi Secondary School, St Joseph's College and Wah Yan College, Hong Kong attended this basketball camp at our invitation and got to know the New Asia College through stepping into the CUHK campus.

The 10th Year Reunion Dinner of Class 2007
|
The College is committed to holding diverse alumni activities to better connect New Asia Alumni. Through these activities, the College is eager to get in touch with alumni from different years and listen to their views on the development of the College. The 10th year, 20th year, 30th year and 40th year Reunion Activities are the highlights of every year's alumni activities because these reunions allow alumni of different generations to reunite and gather with former college friends of their own class year.

The Class of 1967. NAC. Golden Jubilee Reunion Dinner
|
The Class of 1967. NAC. Golden Jubilee Reunion Dinner was successfully held on 30 September 2017. More than 80 guests including alumni and their families and friends joined this reunion. Some alumni relived their college days by revisiting the Farm Road campus, then by touring around the present campus and paying a visit to the New Asia History Archive.

The 68th Founders' Day of New Asia College

Themed "Golden Years", the 68th Founders' Day of New Asia College celebrated the golden memories of alumni's days of youth. From September to October, College students, staff and alumni came together to participate in a series of celebration activities and enjoyed pleasant moments here on campus.

The 68th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony & Luncheon
|
The 68th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held at Sir Run Run Hall on 29 September 2017. With generous donations from our trustees, our alumni and people from the community at large, over 160 scholarships were presented to more than 420 students, who had demonstrated excellent performance in various aspects of moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic development.

Naming Ceremony for New Asia College Gymnasium
|
In appreciation and recognition of the munificent support of Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New Asia College Mr. Charles Leung, who has always been actively participating in charity work and contributing to the University and College over the years, the New Asia College Gymnasium has been named "Charles Leung Gymnasium". A naming ceremony was held in the gymnasium on 1/F, Staff- Student Centre, Leung Hung Kee Building on 29 September. Over 100 guests including trustees, staff members, students, alumni and Mr. Leung's family members attended the ceremony to celebrate this occasion.

Mr. Qian Gang chaired The New Asia Lectures on Contemporary China 2017/18 (First Lecture)
|
Endowed by the Dato' Wong Kwing-keung Fund, the first lecture of "New Asia Lectures on Contemporary China 2017/18" was held in Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, CUHK on 6 October this year. It was our honor to have invited Mr. Qian Gang, renowned journalist and writer, to give a lecture titled "What Is 2 Plus 2? My Footprint in Contemporary Media History of China". Mr. Qian discussed the contemporary media culture of China and shared with us his journey of being a journalist. This lecture was moderated by Dr. Gao Qi, Assistant Director of the Universities Service Centre for China Studies, CUHK.

New Asia College Cultural Talks 2017/18 (First Lecture)

The First Lecture of the "New Asia College Cultural Talks", jointly organised by New Asia College and the New Asia College Alumni Association and co-organised by New Asia Middle School, was held at the school hall of New Asia Middle School on 16 September 2017. It was our honor to have invited as our speaker Prof. Lee Ou-fan, CUHK Sin Wai Kin Professor of Chinese Culture, ICS Honorary Senior Research Fellow, and Founding Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of the Humanities.
