聯合書院新民獎

United College Xin Min Scholarship

書院設立的「聯合書院明德獎」及「聯合書院新民獎」，分別表揚在大學肆業期間整體學業成績卓越，在領袖才能及服務方面亦有出色表現的本院應屆畢業生。2012年法律學院畢業生張可楣校友(左二)獲選為今屆新民獎的得獎人，此項書院最高榮譽的獎學金已於本年10月19日在書院第五十六屆院慶典禮上由校董會主席張煊昌博士(最左)、中大校董會主席鄭海泉博士(右二)及院長余濟美教授(最右)頒發。 (P. 4)

The College has established the "United College Ming De Scholarship" and "United College Xin Min Scholarship" to honour final-year UC students for having achieved academic excellence, manifested leadership ability as well as performed outstanding services to the College and the Community at large during his/her tenure at the University. Miss May H M Cheung (2nd left), 2012 graduate majoring Legal Studies, has been selected by the College as the recipient of Xin Min Scholarship. The honorable award was presented to Ms Cheung by Dr Thomas H C Cheung, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees (1st left), Dr Vincent H C Cheng, Chairman of the Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2nd right) and Professor Jimmy C M Yu, College Head (1st right) at the College's 56th Anniversary Ceremony on 19 October 2012.
