| News on the College Assembly of Fellows | ||
|
The 1st Meeting of the Assembly of Fellows was held on Friday, 29 April 2011 at 4:00 pm at MMW 325 and the 2nd Meeting of the Assembly of Fellows will be held on Friday, 17 June 2011 at 4:00 pm at MMW 325. All fellows and affiliates are suggested to reserve time for the meeting. |

| Inaugural Dinner of CW Chu College | ||
|
To celebrate the inauguration of the Assembly of Fellows and welcome all the newly joined members of CW Chu College, an inaugural dinner was hosted by the College on Friday, 29 April 2011 at the Wine Lab of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at Cheng Yu Tung Building. The event was well received by fellows and affiliates of the College.

| New Members (as of 15 June 2011) | ||
|
Thirteen members have joined the College since December 2010.
|
||
|
|
||
| Location and Design of College Campus | ||
|
Located at the Campus Circuit North, the College buildings will blend in with the lush and green surroundings. Apart from the living quarters for the undergraduates, the buildings will house dining facilities for the entire membership of the College, and purpose-built space for tutorials, seminars and other collegiate activities. |
|

|
|

|

||
| Outreach to Chu Scholars | ||
|
Professor Kenneth Young and Professor Anthony Ho attended a dinner meeting with 17 Chu Scholars (including Professor Ho himself) in Hong Kong on 17 Nov 2010, and a presentation was given on the development of the College. Professor Kenneth Young attended a re-union of Chu Scholars in New York City (14 May 2011) and the Bay Area (15 May 2011). |

||
| Experiencing Communal Dining | ||
|
In order for members to gain some first-hand experience and feeling about college communal dining at CUHK, arrangements were made through the kind courtesy of Morningside College and S.H. Ho College, for members of the CW Chu College Preparatory Committee to join one or more of their commual dining and high table events in this term (2nd term 2010-11).

||
| College Publicity | ||
|
The College took part in a number of promotional events in the 2010-2011 academic year, including the Orientation Day for Undergraduate Admissions in October 2010; the Alumni Homecoming Day in December 2010, and the Consultation Day for Secondary 5 Students in April 2011, to introduce the latest College development to students, parents and CUHK alumni.

| Visit to College Site | ||
|
The College Master visited the college site at Campus Circuit North and explained the future college development to the College affiliates on 18 February 2011.
