Professor Edward Ng Yan-yung chaired the Second Talk of New Asia College Cultural Talks 2019/20

The Second Talk of the "New Asia College Cultural Talks", jointly organised by New Asia College and the New Asia College Alumni Association and co-organised by New Asia Middle School, was held at the School Hall of New Asia Middle School on 11 January 2020, with Professor Edward Ng Yan-yung of the School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong as our speaker. The talk was titled "We work to give life back its dignity", and was moderated by trustee of New Asia College Mr. Wong Ho-chiu. The lecture was very well received by the public and art enthusiasts.

New Asia College Mentorship Programme 2019/20 Career Talks Day and Lunar New Year Poon Choi Dinner

The Career Talks Day of the New Asia College Mentorship Programme 2019/20 was held on 18 January. More than 100 New Asia College students and mentees participated in the event. The activity aimed at enabling students to obtain useful employment information through talks and sharing sessions, and to learn to get along with people from speakers’ experience sharing.

The Winter Solstice and Christmas Luncheon

The New Asia College Staff Association organised this annual event to celebrate the Winter Solstice and Christmas at Yun Chi Hsien, New Asia College on 20 December 2019. Staff members were very keen to sign up, and the 100 places were swiftly taken up.

Cancellation of College activities
|
Due to the novel coronavirus infection in Hong Kong, the following College activities are cancelled:
(a) Chinese New Year Party 2020 (originally scheduled for 28 February)
(b) Ch'ien Mu Lecture in History and Culture (originally scheduled for 13, 15 and 16 March)
(c) Yen Kwo-Yung Lecture in Life Sciences (originally scheduled for 26, 27 and 28 March)
