In celebration of its significant 70th anniversary, the College held in 2019 a series of activities, including the 70th Anniversary Lecture titled "Changes of China's Culture of Learning since Late 19th Century" held on 16 May with Professor Ambrose King cordially invited to be the speaker.

Co-organised with the NACAA, the Chinese New Year Party 2020 will be held in February next year. Details are as follows:

Alumni Reunions 2020 (Upcoming)
|
Reunion gatherings/activities for Classes 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010 will be held on campus in 2020. The reunion are occasions for alumni to recapture happy moments of their university life, share experiences with each other, and provide the College with advice on its future development. Professor Yang Rur-bin chaired the New Asia Lectures on Confucianism 2019/20
|
The 70th Anniversary Lecture of New Asia College & New Asia Lectures on Confucianism 2019 were successfully held in October 2019, with Professor Yang Rur-bin, Chair Professor of the Graduate Institute of Philosophy of National Tsing Hua University, as the keynote speaker.

Professor He Jun chaired the Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History 2019
|
The Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History 2019 was sponsored by the Austin-Eminence Charitable Foundation, and Distinguished Professor of the School of Philosophy of Fudan University He Jun was invited to visit Hong Kong in November 2019.

Mr. Jonathan Cheung chaired the New Asia Lectures on Contemporary China 2019/20
|
Permanently endowed by the Dato' Wong Kwing-keung Fund, the "New Asia Lectures on Contemporary China 2019/20" was held in Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, CUHK on 1 November. Renowned columnist and veteran banker Mr. Jonathan Cheung was invited to give a talk on " Insight into Global Situation from History: Understanding China's Current Situation and Its Foreign Relationship". Mr. Cheung shared his analysis on the development of modern China and presented his viewpoints and observations. This lecture was hosted by Professor Wong Si-lon Seanon of the Department of Government and Public Administration, CUHK.

Professor Josh Yiu chaired the First Talk of New Asia College Cultural Talks 2019/20
|
The First Talk of the "New Asia College Cultural Talks", jointly organised by New Asia College and the NACAA and co-organised by New Asia Middle School, was held at the school hall of New Asia Middle School on 19 October 2019, with Director of the Art Museum of CUHK Professor Josh Yiu as our speaker.

The 68th New Asia College Graduation Ceremony
|
The College's 68th Graduation Ceremony was held at the University Mall on 7 November 2019. It was our honor to have invited Professor Mayching Kao, Honorary Fellow and former Chair Professor of Fine Arts cum former Director of Art Museum of CUHK, to officiate at the Ceremony. A total of 790 graduates were awarded graduation certificates this year.

The 70th College Anniversary Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held at Sir Run Run Hall on 27 September 2019. This year, our guest of honour was Mr. Wong Yick- kam Michael, Trustee of New Asia College of CUHK and Chairman of the Council of Open University of Hong Kong.

Mentorship Programme Inauguration Ceremony 2019/20
|
The Mentorship Programme jointly organised by the New Asia College and the NACAA has come to its 19th year. With the great support by the NACAA and the effort of numerous alumni enthusiastic in engaging students' participation, more than 220 alumni and students enrolled in the programme this year.

The New Asia Young Scholars Scheme 2019/20 officially commenced in August 2019, and its Inauguration Dinner was successfully held on 14 October 2019.
