| Appointment of Prof. Chan Wai-yee as Honorary Member of Medical Education Council, Shandong University | |

Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of School of Biomedical Sciences, has recently been appointed as an Honorary Member of the newly-established Medical Education Council of Shandong University, effective on 20 October 2013. Shandong University (SDU) is, in fact, in close connection with our School (please refer to past academic exchange activities: Late September & mid December 2012, June 2013). The newly-formed Council will play an active role for SDU in polishing its policies in medical education development as well as resources generation, and strengthening the academic exchange with local and overseas educational institutes. The appointment recognizes Prof. Chan's outstanding academic credentials in research, education and service over the years. |
