The first lecture "Mutual Non-disclosure of Wrongdoings Among Family Members" and "Execution of Family Members with the Great Righteousness": Their Ethical and Legal Dimensions" was held on 13 November in the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, CUHK, and was moderated by Professor Lau Kwok Keung, Senior College Tutor of New Asia College. The second lecture "Three Modern Sages: Liang Shuming, Xiong Shili, Ma Yifu" was held on 14 November at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Central Library, with Professor Huang Yong, Department of Philosophy of CUHK, as the moderator. The third lecture "A Philosophical Interpretation of the Book of Rites: Four Dimensions" was held on 17 November at Lecture Theatre 1 of Lee Shau Kee Building, CUHK, and was moderated by Professor Cheng Chung Yi, Department of Philosophy of CUHK.
In these three lectures, Professor Guo explained the philosophy of "justice" using examples from the Analects of Confucius, introduced the academic studies and life of the three representative persons of modern Confucianism and analyzed the profound philosophy in the Book of Rites. At the end of the lectures, audiences were eager to exchange views with Professor Guo and expressed their sincere thankfulness for learning so much about Confucianism.
