To celebrate the 40^th Anniversary since graduation of the 1972 alumni, the "Reunion Dinner of Class 1972" was held at the Staff Canteen in the Staff Student Centre－Leung Hung Kee Building on 10 November 2012 (Saturday) at 7 p.m. The class was pleased to gather in the College and share their stories.

Over 30 alumni and guests attended the reunion dinner. The emcee, Ms. Melissa Wong, started by leading the group to sing College anthem. It was followed by the welcoming remarks of our college head, Prof. Shun Kwong-loi and the speech of our Alumni Association, Dr. Chan Chi-sun.During the dinner, a slideshow with old photos of the class was showed. Many shared their stories during the College days as well as their life after graduation.

Besides, the College would set up the "1972 Alumni Scholarship" to present scholarships to students with excellent academic performance. Alumni who attended the dinner were very supportive to this idea of helping their juniors. At the end of the dinner, Prof. Cheung Hok-ming from the Department of History performed and sang in front of the audience. Prof. Shun and Dr. Chan were both invited to get onto the stage and sing the song "Believe". The dinner ended with joy and laughter.
