Academic Success Seminar (II) – Academic Referencing

Academic Referencing is a way of acknowledging that you have used the ideas of work belonging to another author. Failure to do so is considered plagiarism which can result in severe disciplinary action.

This seminar will cover the importance of referencing and with the aid of RefWorks, an online bibliographic management programme, the speaker will demonstrate the proper and efficient ways for citing various resources in writing assignments.
