The New Asia College has long been regarded as a place of importance for the learning of Confucianism in the 20th century. Founders of the College, including Mr.  Ch'ien Mu, Mr. Tang Junyi, Mr. Mou Tsungsan and Mr. Xu Fuguan were not only influential in the Chinese academia, but their achievements were also highly recognized around the world.. These renowned scholars not only focus on the study of Confucianism but are very concerned on the development of the contemporary Chinese society and the relationship between China and other foreign countries.

The College has received the kind donation from the Moonchu Foundation for the introduction of the New Asia Lectures on Confucianism for 10 years. A renowned scholar in Confucianism will be invited each year to conduct lecture series related to Confucianism.
