12 Years of Dialogue (Joint Display of Cheung Yeuk-fei Enna and Ho Hor-you)

Echo on the Hill ~ It’s near, so close (Solo Display of Li Po-man Christine)

In this exhibition, Christine will show her picture book manuscripts and current paintings in two different places in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Viewers can find the dialogues between her artworks, just like the echoes around the hill. We have to go through different stages and encountered lots of difficult situations in our life. Let’s encourage ourselves, “It’s near, so close!” and keep moving on.
Born and educated in Hong Kong, Christine Li is an amateur urban sketcher. She has had a passion for art since learning Chinese painting in her childhood. She expresses herself through life drawing every day with different kinds of mediums. Christine believes that art should not be something hard to be reached and should be integrated with life. Working as an HR specialist in learning and development for over ten years, she tries to bring elements of art to her workplace. Christine received her Master of Fine Arts degree from CUHK in 2018.

Up Where We Belong Were We Are On Fire (Joint Display of Wong Kin-man and Cheng Wing-yan)

Wong Kin-man, born in 1998, is a fine arts student of CUHK. She mainly adopts everyday objects and installations as her art media, focusing on daily life and her own experiences, and trying to explore the relationship between land and art. Wong is keen on making daily observations in the city in order to arouse concerns and responses to community issues through her works, and to connect with people and explore relationships between people.
Born in 1999, Cheng Wing-yan is a fine arts student of CUHK whose works focus on mixed media and installations. She is fond of taking a walk and exploring what people call “everyday life” in the streets which form the core of her works. Currently, she engages ordinary objects in her works, emphasizing relationships between people and converting daily experiences into videos.
